Open Door Meditation & Spirituality Drop-in new

This is an open meditation evening, offering a space for people to come and deepen the peace and stillness within. It is open to everyone, is inter-spiritual and is an ideal venue to learn and develop different meditation practices. Each week we’ll do some meditation, mindfulness and have a reflection on a spiritual theme. Every Tuesday (starting September 21st 2010) Venue: St. Pauls, Community Centre, Glenageary (beside dart) Time: 7.00pm – 8.30pm, Investment €15 (or donation). Pay at the door. Explore & Support your Spiritual Journey with the Beehive new

This is an inter-spiritual space offered to anyone on a spiritual journey. It is part of the Open Door Meditation evening every Tuesday night 7pm – 10pm in St. Paul’s Community centre in Glenageary. People are asked to sign up for 6 weeks at a time and we follow the 5 areas of a contemplative journey. Starts in September 2010 on Tuesday 21st. Investment €25 per week x 6 = €150 (or donation)

Each participant is asked to keep a folder and develop parts or all of the 5 areas of the contemplative work.

They are:

1) Meditation or ways of connecting with the deeper or Soul Self

2) Developing and finding a community to support your journey.

3) Deeper emptyng out and exploration through therapy, spiritual direction, healing etc.

4) Developing a Reflective Practioner or Authentic Observer through silence, retreats, journalling etc.

5) Developing the transcendent through service in the world.

Each week an area from one of the above areas will be developed and supported and a  space will be provided to reflect and share the spiritual  journey with each other.
