Authentic Leadership & Facilitation Skills Training

This course is designed to support and provide training for those in leadership or who work with group dynamics.

It is open to people of all levels of experience.

Topics covered

  1. Contracting with a group or in a meeting
  2. Adult Learning Styles and Teaching Methods
  3. Active Listening Skills and Non-Violent Communication
  4. Understanding Group Dynamics & Facilitation Skills
  5. Developing Roles and Professional Identities
  6. Designing Content
  7. Evaluation & Feedback Skills

Each meeting will consist of exploring the theory of that theme and then experiential role-play as well as reflecting on the previous theme in action between sessions.

The course is equivalent to a FETAC level 6 course or 21 hours continuous professional development.

St Paul’s Community Centre, Adelaide Road, Sandycove – just beside the Glenageary dart station.

Investment:

Places are limited to 6 people and bookings are taking place now, on a first come first served basis.

€560 for the course. €80 deposit secures a place with balance of €480 to be paid at the first session.

If finances are an obstacle other payment plans can be discussed.
